About Me

Christopher Rey is a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, former law enforcement leader, and public servant whose life has been marked by tragedy, trauma, and a relentless pursuit of meaning. Having served in roles from FBI Task Force Officer to Interim Chief of Police, he has faced the raw realities of violence, loss, addiction, and grief, both in the line of duty and in his personal life. The death of a brother at a young age, the collapse of a marriage, and years of unprocessed sorrow left deep emotional scars that no badge or title could conceal.

Alongside his career in public safety, Christopher pursued a formal theological education in an effort to reconcile his faith with his lived experiences. He earned a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and continues to wrestle with questions of suffering, purpose, and redemption.

His time working with the broken and addicted reshaped his perspective, ultimately guiding him toward creating rehabilitative programs focused on second chances, including initiatives in opioid recovery and mental health intervention.

Though his spiritual journey has not been linear, and the struggle remains, Christopher’s belief in the possibility of healing has not dwindled. He remains committed to advocating for those without a voice and building systems that prioritize restoration, accountability, and human dignity.

He is the Managing Director of Borderland Solutions Group, LLC, which specializes in strategic leadership in government and private organizations, dealing with training, consulting, policy development, grant writing, and employee misconduct investigations.
